August 21, 2007

Happening this month

YoungZCamp-2007 is in the history books.  Thanks to all who attended.  I have to assume you all had a good time.  Some of you expressed your dislike of the campsite, and you had legitimate complaints.  I will be on a lookout for a different campsite for 2008.  If you know of a good place, do let me know.

I finally found time to work on a new home for YoungZCamp on the internet.  Do check out the brand new website.  You will be required to sign up, as I have deleted all the old data, and do not have your logins from the past.

I was blessed this year with gifts (forgotten items)  from my campers.  I have posted photographs of all items that were left behind for your viewing.  Please check here to determine what belongs to you.  Drop me a note and I will arrange for a way to get the item(s) to you.  If they are not claimed by September 15th, I will donate them to the Salvation Army.

If you have photographs of previous camps (including 2007) please email them to me so that I can upload them to the photo gallery.  If you or your children would like to write about a memorable event of any camp, please drop me a note too.

Lastly, I am looking for help with storage.  I do not have any space in my garage to store the tents and other equipment that I use for the camp.  For the past three years the Board of Directors of California Zoroastrian Center have denied my request to use the storage container at CZC, hence that is not an option.  I need approximately 200 cubic feet of storage space  for the equipment before the rains arrive this year, so any help would be appreciated.
